Qigong and Energy Fundamentals Workshop (Online Only)

Qigong is a diverse system for working with the energy of life, called qi (pronounced “chi”).  Some of its benefits include improving health, reducing stress, increasing energy, maintaining emotional calm, strengthening the immune system, and promoting longevity. Although the word “qigong” has only been in common usage since the 1950s, the energy practices it is based on originated in Asia between three and seven thousand years ago. It is a vital, living practice that continues to be researched, developed, and adapted for contemporary life.

On Sunday, March 3rd, join Brianna Sieberg, Qigong Flow Instructor, for a deep dive into the fundamentals of energy and how to create a powerful and beneficial qigong practice.  You will learn how to sense energy and create an energy ball and you will practice and learn more in depth about the basic “wuji” stance.  You will learn the 5 principles of a good qigong practice, principles of yin and yang and about the tai ji pole that connects humans to the primordial forces of heaven and earth.  To finish our practice, you will learn a powerful and inspiring “harmonia” flow that you can practice at home.

Everything is made of energy and understanding the fundamentals can be an empowering practice for our bodies, minds and spirits.
