Supple Spine

Keeping the back healthy is so important, but we don’t often talk about it.

The spine includes the vertebrae, cerebral spinal fluid and the spinal cord. If you think about it, the spine serves as the structural foundation for all of life’s activities. It is also the superhighway from our brain and nervous systems through which messages are delivered to the rest of our bodies.

On top of that, from an energetic perspective, the spine is in the very important central channel that helps to fuel the rest of the energetic system. This central channel can either be flowing well or it can be blocked. It is easily blocked by stress, general everyday life or lack of movement.

But when it is flowing well, energy can travel all the way down from the brain and into the heart, where we can feel more love and compassion. And if it flows all the way down into the lower belly, we can feel more stable and grounded

To age well it is very important to cultivate and maintain and healthy, strong and supple spine.
